App Management
How to customize your app
You have control over how information is structured and managed in the app. During the build process, you can add, remove, or adjust any of the suggested forms or details. The AI assistant proposes a structure tailored to your description to speed up the process, but you review and confirm the details before the app is generated.
As shown below, the assistant generates a proposed structure (Forms and Fields).
You are not locked into the initial draft. You can refine it by sending natural language instructions in the chat, such as "Add a Phone Number field", "Remove the Address field" or "Rename Customer to Customer Information".
After you make changes, the proposed structure updates automatically. You can iteratively interact with the assistant to make changes. Once the structure matches your needs, you can confirm and proceed to next step.
Understanding Limits & Usage
Each plan includes limits on the number of projects, user accounts, storage, and bandwidth to maintain optimal performance and fair usage of platform resources for everyone. Usage from all your projects is combined when calculating these limits. Understanding these limits helps you choose the right plan and monitor your usage effectively.
Projects are the individual apps you build on the platform. Each project operates independently with its own structure, database, and settings.
Users are accounts used to log in to the app.
Storage refers to the total database space used by your app to store information, including system generated audit logs.
Bandwidth measures the amount of data transferred when users load pages, search information, export information from your apps. We measure your usage over a rolling 30 day period, so your limit is based on the previous 30 days at any given time.
What Happens If I Reach a Limit?
We aim to provide a seamless experience, but some actions will be limited once you reach the limits:
- Projects: You cannot create new projects until you upgrade your plan or delete unused project.
- Users: You cannot create additional user accounts.
- Storage: Access to your apps may be restricted.
- Bandwidth: Access to your apps may be restricted. Bandwidth usage is measured over a rolling 30 day period, with older usage dropping off each day. While restricted, your app does not consume additional bandwidth, allowing your total to decrease each day. Your access may automatically be restored the next day once your total falls below your plan limit.
You can monitor your current usage and limits from your account Dashboard. You can upgrade whenever you need more capacity.
Understanding Project Status & Deletion Policy
Your projects can have different statuses depending on their lifecycle.
- Building: The project is currently being generated. Once the build is complete, you will receive an email with your login credentials, and the project will become Active.
- Active: The project is live and accessible.
- Over Limit: The project is inaccessible because your account has exceeded its allocated Storage or Bandwidth limits.
How to resolve an Over Limit status
When a project is Over Limit, it is not scheduled for deletion and the data remains safely stored. To restore access, you can increase your capacity by upgrading your subscription plan.
Here is what to expect depending on which limit was reached:
- Storage: Access will remain restricted until more capacity is added to the account.
- Bandwidth: Bandwidth usage is measured over a rolling 30 day period, with older usage dropping off each day. You can choose to wait for your total usage to fall below your current limit, which will automatically restore access, or you can increase your capacity to regain access sooner.
If you are already on the Pro Plan, increasing capacity beyond the included limits requires a custom arrangement. Please contact our team to discuss available options. When reaching out, please use "Plan Upgrade & Scaling" as the subject and include a brief description of your expected resource requirements so we can review your request and prepare a tailored solution.
- Locked: The project is inaccessible because it requires a higher plan than your current plan. This typically occurs when a paid plan expires and the account reverts to the Starter plan.
Important: Locked projects are scheduled for deletion
When a project enters the Locked status due to plan expiration, a 14-day retention period begins. If you do not restore access by upgrading to the required tier within 14 days, the project can be permanently deleted from our servers to free up resources. This action cannot be undone.
User Management
How to add users
Note: The Add Users feature is available on the Basic Plan and above.
You can share access to your app with other users. As the system owner, you will create their profile and inform them directly.
- Log in to the app.
- Click the User menu in the main navigation bar.
- Click the Add button on the Search User screen.
- Enter the user's account details:
- Name & Email
- Username & Password: The credentials they will use to log in.
- Select the appropriate User Group.
- Click the Save button to create the new user account.
- Inform the new user that the account has been created so that they can log in.
Understanding User Groups & Permissions
Note: The Starter Plan is designed for individual use and does not include the ability to add new Users and assign User Groups. As the sole user, you have full access to search, view, and manage information. Features to create new Users and assign User Groups are available on the Basic Plan and above.
Assigning the right User Group gives each User the access they need to work efficiently while limiting unnecessary permissions.
Built-in User Groups
The following built-in User Groups are available on the Basic Plan and above:
User Management.
User Admins can add new Users, assign User Groups, and remove existing Users from the app.
Read-Only Access.
Viewers can Search and View information but cannot modify any information. Ideal for stakeholders who need visibility without alter rights.
Read-Write Access.
Editors can Search, View, Add, Edit, and Delete information. On Growth & Pro Plan, Editors can also Export Data.
Custom User Groups
Need Granular Control?
Custom User Groups (available on Growth & Pro Plan) allow you to configure permissions for each specific form.
For example, you can configure a "Sales Agent" User Group with full access to Sales Orders while limiting access to Product Inventory to view-only.
Feature Availability by Plan
To help you decide which plan best suits your needs, the table below outlines the features and permissions available at each tier.
| Feature | Starter | Basic | Growth & Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search & View Records | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Add, Edit & Delete Records | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Add New Users | - | ✓ | ✓ |

Subscription & Billing
How to upgrade your subscription
You can move to a higher tier plan at any time to support your growing needs. Upgrading immediately increases your limits for Projects, User Seats, Storage, and Bandwidth. It also unlocks additional features such as Export Data, Audit Logs, and Custom User Groups configuration.
- Log in to your Accelframe account.
- Click the Billing & Plans menu in the main navigation bar.
- Scroll down to the Available Plans section to review the plans.
- Click the Upgrade Plan or Subscribe Plan button on the plan that fits your needs.
- Enter your payment details on the secure checkout page to complete the transaction.
Note: Your payment will be pro-rated if you upgrade in the middle of a billing cycle. We calculate the unused value of your current plan and apply it as a credit towards the new plan, so you are only charged the difference.
Plan Requirement Check
Before redirecting you to the secure checkout page, the system validates your existing projects to ensure they are compatible with the selected plan. If you have specific projects that require a higher tier plan (for example, a project configured for Pro Plan features while you are selecting a Basic Plan), a Review Project Requirements popup will appear. To proceed, you must either delete the conflicting projects or select a plan that supports them.
Understanding Subscription Policies
Modifying your Subscription
How billing is handled depends on whether you are upgrading to a new plan immediately or switching the billing cycle.
- Upgrading to a new plan
When you upgrade your plan, the change takes effect immediately. If you upgrade in the middle of a billing cycle, we calculate the unused value of your current plan and apply it as a prorated credit towards the new plan so you are only charged the difference.
If the prorated credit exceeds the cost of the new plan, extra time is applied as an extension to the new plan, ensuring you get the full value of what you have already paid.
- Switching Billing Cycles (Same Plan)
If you switch between Monthly and Annual billing for the same plan, the change is scheduled for your next billing date. You will not be charged immediately, and no payment is required at this time.
Cancelling your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing & Plans dashboard.
- No future charges: Once cancelled, you will not be charged for the next cycle.
- Access until billing cycle ends: While we do not offer refunds for unused time, your paid plan will remain active with full access until your current billing cycle ends.

Accelframe generates an invoice for every payment made. You can access your full billing or transaction history and view invoices from your account.
